Father’s Day is upon us and that means it’s time to acknowledge all the dads who work so hard to support and guide their families through life. For the dads who get to celebrate for the first time, this will be an extra special day.
Taking care of a newborn baby, especially for the first time, can be incredibly challenging, but also amazing. For these dads in the Country music industry, there are obstacles to overcome that the everyday father would not normally have to deal with. Having to be away on the road for weeks or months on end or missing the little milestones in their child’s life can be very disheartening for a father. Even with their busy schedules, however, these dads find the time to be a noble figure and ever so present within their children’s lives.
Before they are even born, these little bundles of joy are already making their mark in the music industry, starting with the inspiration they bring to their songwriter dads. Chris Lane and Russell Dickerson are among the list of new dads that have already released heartwarming tunes dedicated to their current and future children.

Morgan Wallen
On July 10, 2020, Morgan Wallen and ex-girlfriend KT Smith welcomed their first child to the world, a son named Indigo Wilder.
“I promise I’ll always protect you, and do my best to be an example of a good, godly man just like my daddy was for me,” Wallen wrote on Instagram after announcing the birth of Indigo.
ERNEST
ERNEST and wife Delaney Royer welcomed their first born, a son named Ryman Saint on April 27, 2021.
“We are just loving every second of it,” Ernest said in regards to the birth of the couple’s baby boy.
Russell Dickerson
On Sept. 10, 2020, Russell Dickerson and wife Kailey welcomed their first born, a son named Remington Edward Dickerson.
“Best award I could ever hold in this life,” said Dickerson in admiration of his adorable son.
Chris Lane
On June 8, 2021, just in time for Father’s Day, Chris Lane and wife Lauren Bushnell welcomed their son, Dutton Walker Lane, the couple’s first child together.
“Words can’t describe the love I feel inside my heart for this little man!” Lane said while holding his new son close in the hospital room.
LANCO’s Chandler Baldwin
On May 27, 2021, Chandler Baldwin and wife Natalie welcomed their first born baby girl named Selah Rose Baldwin.
“You’ve already stolen my heart, sweet girl. I love you so, so much,” said Baldwin in his announcement on Instagram.
LANCO’s Tripp Howell
Tripp Howell and wife Alli welcomed their first born, a son named James on May 14, 2021.
“There really isn’t a word to describe the kind of love a man has for his son,” said Howell as a proud new father.
LANCO’s Brandon Lancaster
Brandon Lancaster and wife Tiffany welcomed their first baby to the world, a daughter named Elora Ivelle, on Sept. 19, 2020.
“Elora Ivelle Lancaster, welcome to the world,” Lancaster said of his daughter. ”I thought I knew what strength was, until I was with my wife during 36 hours of labor. She is strength. I thought I knew what love was until I held my daughter. That is love. Only a few days on this new adventure and already learning some of the biggest lessons in my life. ”
Everette’s Brent Rupard
On June 2, 2021, Brent Rupard and wife Caroline welcomed their first baby, a son named Wren Wesley.
“And just like that, I’m seeing new colors. Here we go, Wren!” said Rupard as he steps into his new role as dad.
Charlie Worsham
Charlie Worsham and wife Kristen welcomed their first baby, their son Gabriel Thomas on April 1, 2021.
“I believe that raising babies is the most important thing we’ll do,” Worsham said in the announcement of his sweet new son.
Tyler Farr
Tyler Farr and his wife Hannah welcome their little girl, Hollis Caroline a bit earlier than expected on Jan. 27, 2021.
“She’s a little fighter,” said Farr after sharing that his little girl had been born six weeks early.
Jon Langston
Jon Langston and girlfriend Sonia welcomed their baby girl Magnolia Mae to the world on Nov. 1, 2020.
“Love the road but hate saying goodbye,” Langston shared on Instagram as he prepares to head back on tour, leaving behind his little one.
Dwight Yoakam
Dwight Yoakam and wife Emily Joyce welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Dalton Loren Yoakam on Aug. 16, 2020.
“Like the lyric from the song Waterfall that Dwight wrote for Emily on his 3 Pears album says… Babies get born even in a… Pandemic lock down…” said Yoakam on Instagram in an announcement of the birth of his first son.
Braison Cyrus
Bear Chance Cyrus was welcomed into the world by his parents, Braison Cyrus and wife Stella on June 8th, 2021.
“God poured every bit of his mercy, tenderness, beauty and strength into Bear,” said the new father with adornment in his eyes.
