Years & Years’ Olly Alexander had us starstruck during Can’t Cancel Pride on Friday, June 4.

Following an introduction by country singer Brandi Carlile, Alexander performed “Starstruck” atop of a piano, alongside several backup singer and a pianist.  “Starstruck” is a song co-written by Clarence Coffee Jr., Mark Ralph, Nathaniel Ledwidge and Olly Alexander and marked the first single release from Years & Years as Alexander’s solo project following the departure of Mikey Goldsworthy and Emre Türkmen.

The 2021 Can’t Cancel Pride benefit event also featured appearances from Brothers Osborne, Bebe Rexha, Busy Phillips, Gus Kenworthy, Hayley Kiyoko, Jasmine Mans, Jennifer Hudson, JoJo Siwa, Lil Nas X, Marshmello, MJ Rodriguez, Nina West, P!NK, Ricky Martin, Regard, Troye Sivan, Dolly Parton, Elton John, Brandi Carlile, Kylie Minogue, Leslie Odom Jr., Karamo Brown and Tan France of Queer Eye, Yola, Years & Years’ Olly Alexander, Pete and Chasten Buttigieg and Tate McRae.

The 1-hour long event brought together some of the biggest names in culture and entertainment to seek inspiration from the letters in PRIDE symbolizing Power & Purpose, Respect & Relationships, Individuality & Intersectionality, Dance & Defy, and Equality & Everybody.

Co-hosted by Elvis Duran and Bebe Rexha during Pride Month, Can’t Cancel Pride aired on Friday, June 4, across iHeartRadio social media as well iHeartRadio’s and on iHeartMedia Radio Stations Nationwide and the iHeartRadio App.

The event will also be available on demand via iHeartRadio’s TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram TV pages, IHeartRadio’s and Revry throughout Pride Month until Thursday, June 30.
