Silk Sonic made their American Music Awards show debut with a performance we won’t soon forget.

The R&B duo, composed of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, kicked off the coveted awards show on Sunday (Nov. 21) with a performance of their latest single “Smokin’ Out The Window,” a track which appears on their just-released debut album, An Evening With Silk Sonic. The song marked “the first thing we ever wrote together.”

“Smokin’ out the window (Smokin’ out the window) / Singin’ ‘How could she do this to me?’ / (How could she do this to me?) / I thought that girl belonged to only me / But I was wrong / ‘Cause she belong to everybody, everybody,” Silk Sonic sing in the chorus.

The performance brought the song’s music video to the AMAs stage.
