Shot Of Southern’s frontman Jim Wible proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Katelynn Perri, on Sunday (Sept. 6).
The proposal was a moment Wible’s fiancée will never forget. Wible was in the midst of performing at a socially-distanced, outdoor Labor Day Concert at Renault Winery Resort & Golf in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, when he got down on one knee to ask her to marry him following a performance of Sam Hunt’s “Take Your Time.”
During Shot Of Southern’s performance of Hunt’s popular hit, Wible finished out the song walking towards his girlfriend as he sang the lyrics to his longtime girlfriend.
“I don’t have to make you love me, I just wanna take your time, I don’t wanna blow your phone up, I just wanna blow your mind, I don’t have to take your heart, I just wanna take your time. No, I ain’t gotta call you baby, And I ain’t gotta call you mine. I don’t have to take your heart, I just wanna take your time” Wible sang to his girlfriend before proposing.
“She said yes incase you guys were wondering,” Wible said laughing following the proposal.
Wible truly did propose in the most unqiue way, he even joked on Facebook when posting the video saying “Take Notes Fellas.”
