Randy Travis quizzed Alexandra Kay on her knowledge of his songs and she knew every single one of them!
In the just-released clip, Travis put Kay to the test of how many songs of his that she can sing by just seeing the title. The rising star didn’t miss one song and thoroughly impressed the country icon with her knowledge of his legendary catalog.
“I tested @alexandrakaymusic on how many of my songs she can sing…” Travis captioned the clip on TikTok, adding, “She nailed ‘em all!”
Throughout the clip, Travis held up pieces of paper that had different song titles on them, which Kay was prompted to sing the song if she knew it and she knew every single one and flawlessly executed the task of singing the chorus of the tune shown to her.
The list of songs shown to her included “Diggin’ Up Bones,” “I Told You So,” “Three Wooden Crosses,” “Deeper Than The Holler,” and of course his fan-favorite hit “Forever And Ever, Amen.”

Additionally, Kay released her new single “Tall Boys” on Friday (Sept. 17), which marks the rising star’s first-ever party anthem.
“’Tall Boys’ is the crowd pleaser I have always wanted to write. After teasing it on TikTok a few times and watching the amount of views it was getting, I knew I had to put it out,” Kay explained of the track in a press release. “The coolest thing is seeing fans singing the words back to me every night on tour without the song even being released yet! It makes me even more excited to finally have ‘Tall Boys’ out in the world for people to crack a beer open to and toast to a long day.”
Co-written by Kay alongside Andrew Capra and Mary Kutter, “Tall Boys” is an ode to the things that make the workweek worthwhile, like good friends and cold beer. Backed by some epic guitar and drum solos, the track truly allows Kay’s authentic country vocals and knack for writing clever lyrics on full display.
“Raise up your can with feel good in it / Toss back your blue mountain / Or your Pabst Blue Ribbon / Grab a couple Buds and get to sippin’ / Man it’s the High Life that we’re livin’,” Kay sings in the chorus of the new tune.
