Olivia Rodrigo made her American Music Awards debut on Sunday evening (Nov. 21) at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
Rodrigo, who leads the 2021 AMAs nominations with seven nods, performed her fan-favorite hit, “traitor,” a track from her debut album, Sour.
Surrounded a stage flood with a rose garden, the viral hitmaker entered the stage from what looked like a backdoor, taking to the stage with just her acoustic guitar under a starry sky, making for an emotional performance.

The power powerhouse is up for seven nominations, including Artist of the Year, New Artist of The Year, Favorite Female Pop Artist, Favorite Music Video (“Driver’s License”), Favorite Pop Album (‘Sour’), Favorite Trending Song (“Driver’s License”), and Favorite Pop Song (“Driver’s License”).
The 2021 American Music Awards also featured performances from Olivia Rodrigo, Bad Bunny with Tainy and Juliete Venegas, Kane Brown, Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Lopez, BTS, Coldplay, Silk Sonic, New Edition, Chlöe, New Kids on the Block, Diplo, Måneskin, Mickey Guyton, Tyler, the Creator, Walker Hayes, and Zoe Wees.
