Morgan Myles teamed up with her coach Camila Cabello for a duet of “Never Be The Same” during the season 22 finale of NBC’s The Voice on Tuesday (Dec. 13).

The 35-year-old Nashville native and former member of Fifth Harmony took demanded viewer’s attention with their impressive live collaboration.

After singing the first two verses of the tune on separate sides of the stage, Myles and Camila made their way around the colorful stage before singing back to back on the chorus. Their soaring performance concluded as the coach and contestant pairing belted out the final chorus of the tune, which allowed their powerhouse vocals to be put on full display together.

“It’s you, babe / And I’m a sucker for the way that you move, babe / And I could try to run, but it would be useless / You’re to blame / Just one hit of you, I knew I’ll never be the same,” the pair sang in perfect harmony on the chorus of the chart-topping tune.

Throughout Season 22 of The Voice, Myles has remained a fan-favorite contestant since she first took to the NBC studios stage during her blind audition, where she earned the season’s first four-chair turn with a cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”

At the time of her blind audition, John Legend complimented her fearlessness and even told her that her audition was one of the most memorable auditions in quite some time.

“I feel like we don’t get a lot of people singing that song just because it’s so intimidating. It takes some cojones to come here and sing it with such confidence,” he said. “Then, we got to see your range, and you’re hitting those piercing, beautiful notes. It was exquisite. One of the best blind auditions I’ve seen in quite a long time.”

Myles has showcased her powerhouse pipes on the show with covers of Beyoncé’s “If I Were A Boy,” Lady Gaga’s “Always Remember Us This Way,” Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey,” Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush,” and many others.

She has also continuously impressed The Voice coaches (Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, Camila Cabello) since her blind audition and earlier in the season John Legend even declared that she is one of the best country singers he has ever seen on The Voice.

“I think you’ve been one of the most gifted vocalists throughout this competition,” Legend previously gushed, while her coach Camila Cabello raved over her “gorgeous tone” and said, “I feel like you have superstar status.”

According to Myles, she has been actively pursuing a career in Country music for nearly two decades now.

“I’ve been in Nashville for 16 years, but I’m a full-time touring artist. I’ve played 117 shows in the last year — solo, acoustic — in almost all 50 states,” Myles explained after her audition in September of 2022. ”There were days I was just about to lose it, but I’ve been very blessed because my parents have been my rocks in a really, really hard industry.”

The season 22 finale of NBC’s The Voice aired on Tuesday evening (Dec. 13) at 9/8c on NBC and will air again tomorrow (Dec. 14) on Peacock.

The two-hour finale also featured performances from Kelly Clarkson, Maluma, OneRepublic, Adam Lambert, BRELAND and the season 21 winner of The Voice, Girl Named Tom.

The Voice coaches—Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Camila Cabello and John Legend—also took to the stage alongside The Voice finalists—Omar Jose Cardona, Brayden Lape, Bryce Leatherwood, Morgan Myles, and bodie.

In addition to performing alongside Team Blake finalists, Shelton also joined Kane Brown to deliver the live debut of their brand-new duet, “Different Man.”
