Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda ventured out with his debut solo album, Post Traumatic, and tonight he performed the songs and also some Linkin Park and Fort Minor tunes in Los Angeles at IdentityLA and fans we stoked but it was also an emotion filled night. This was the launch to his Post Traumatic debut solo tour, find other tour dates from Shinoda, HERE.
After a brief setup for Shinoda’s set tonight at IdentityLA in Los Angeles, Shinoda launched his set with a roaring welcome to the stage. Shinoda really showcased his talents live with his solo music and even blending Linkin Park hits into his sets bringing out Linkin Park’s Joe Hahn for “Castle Of Glass.” Including Linkin Park’s late frontman Chester Bennington’s vocals sampling when he performed LP’s “When They Come For Me,” the real emotion filled on stage and in the crowd when Shinoda performed LP’s hit song “In The End” which ended with a ‘Chester, Chester, Chester’ chant as tears filled Shinoda’s eyes.
