During the Cleveland native 17-song performance at the final round NFL Draft in Ohio, the “Bloody Valentine” singer sang an a cappella version of the popular Nickelodeon show’s theme song and fans seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. Following his rendition of the Spongebob theme song, he acoustically performed tracks from his latest chart-topping album, Tickets To My Downfall, including “Forget Me Too and “Lonely.”
“I can’t believe you guys actually sang that with me,” MGK told the crowd. “That was awesome! That was not supposed to happen. Everyone gets mad at me because I’m 30 years old and watch SpongeBob on Amazon Prime all the time.”
