Machine Gun Kelly debuted the first single “Bloody Valentine” from his forthcoming pop-punk album, Tickets To My Downfall on Wednesday (May 6) on The Late Late Show with James Corden. The song was released on May 1 and has already amassed millions of streams. The album is scheduled for release this summer.
For the live performance Machine Gun Kelly had Blink-182’s Travis Barker join him, as although Barker did not appear on the song, he did produce his forthcoming new album.

The performance was filmed from his Barkers’ house, as The Late Late Show with James Corden is currently filming from home due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Machine Gun Kelly tweeted “i’m coming over i need you for this one!!” ahead of the performance to Barker, revealing that the performance took place at his house.
Machine Gun Kelly dedicated the performance to a fan on Twitter, a fan who covered the song.
He tweeted about dedicating the song to her, saying: “i always wanted to make songs that people would want to cover, and this was the first one i saw and it was so beautifully done. i’ll be wearing the shirt you’re wearing in this video on TV tonight so you’ll know.”
