Luke Bryan’s sold-out Nashville concert on Friday, July 30, was full of surprises. The concert turned out to be a star-studded evening, as Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, Jason Aldean, and Morgan Wallen joined the “One Margarita” singer on stage to make “Waves.”
However, the unexpected collaboration between the talented country stars was not the high point of the action-packed performance. In fact, it was when Bryan shared an intimate moment with a loyal fan named Emma Lookatch and her supportive father during his chart-topping single “Play It Again.”
A concert-goer named Chelsea took to TikTok to share the memorable moment of Bryan on his knees sharing his microphone with Lookatch. “Singing to a girl in the pit, at his Nashville show❤️ #Lukebryan #morganwallen #jasonaldean #country #countrymusic #trending #tiktokindia,” a TikTok user captioned the short clip.

Overnight, the viral video tugged at nearly 700 thousand heartstrings and brought several fans to speak out about Bryan’s kind, yet emotional gesture. “Omg!! This seriously gave me chills. Sounds like he was emotional 💕 sweetest thing ever!!” says a country music fan about the hitmakers shaky performance and how he was holding back tears and choking up during the emotional moment.
Within the video, you see Bryan making Emma’s night as he held her hand tight and sang into her eyes. Emma couldn’t contain her excitement as she smiled from ear to ear, looked at her father with pure joy, and she even reached for Bryan’s microphone to sing the last verse of the chorus.
Many country fans don’t know that this is not the first touching interaction between Bryan and Emma. Before the Coronavirus took the world by storm, Kids Wish Network – a Florida-based wish-granting organization received a message from someone in Emma’s life.
Emma, who struggles with Cerebral Palsy, “wish” was to meet Luke Bryan on the set of American Idol. However, due to COVID-19, the eager teenager did not have the chance to rub elbows with Bryan in-person. So, the life-changing program adapted to the times and sent a surprising video to Emma and her family.

“Hey Emma, it’s Luke here,” Bryan says on the video message. “And I heard you were a big, big fan, and I’m just reaching out saying hey. And I heard you were gonna get the opportunity to come to (American) Idol and meet me, and I’m so sorry how everything kind of got messed up. But I hope to meet you very, very soon, and just know that I love you.”
The Chicago-based family was blown away by the personal message sent from the country music megastar. After watching, Emma shared, “I’ll never forget, this is better than my birthday.” The Kids Wish Network gifted the family with a new iPad and Beats by Dre headphones to go along with the virtual message.
An in-person meet and greet is currently still in the works, and the organization has plans to make Emma’s dream come true. Until that day comes, Emma will remain Bryan’s biggest fan. Luke Bryan will continue to spread the love and touch hearts during his Proud To Be Right Here Tour, which runs through October.
