Laine Hardy performed his rendition of “Please Come Home For Christmas” during the 2020 National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump lit up the National Christmas Tree at President’s Park, a moment that is featured in the virtual 98th National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, alongside some incredible performances of some classic holiday tracks. This holiday tradition started in 1923 by President Calvin Coolidge.

Other performances during the ceremony included Jerrod Niemann, Jillian Cardarelli, Jillian Edwards, Kellie Pickler, Leaving Austin, Lynda Randle, Michael Tait, Colton Dixon, Matthew West, the U.S. Navy’s official chorus, The Sea Chanters; and “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band and several others.

“Please Come Home For Christmas” is a song that was originally made famous by Bon Jovi and The Eagles, However, the American Idol alum recorded his own version of the track, which you can listen to HERE.
