Earlier this month, Laine Hardy made his inaugural trip overseas to entertain United States service members in Abu Dhabi at Al Dhafra Air Base.
During his full band performance he performed several of his latest hits including “Ground I Grew Up On” and “Tiny Town,” as well as an exceptional cover of Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey,” a track that appears on Stapleton’s debut album, Traveller.
“My band and I greatly appreciate the sacrifice that each of the service members make for our country,” Hardy said. “We are thankful for everything we were able to honorably experience while here. This will be a moment in my life I will never forget.”

Music Mayhem recently named Hardy an artist to watch in 2021, saying “the Louisiana native may have been the champion of Season 17 of American Idol in 2019 but we think he is going to be the champion of country music in 2021.”
