John Holiday and his coach John Legend performed Simon & Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water” during The Voice finale on Tuesday (Dec. 15).
During night two of The Voice season finale, coaches paired with their remaining team member to sing a duet of their choice.

“Bridge Over Troubled Water” is a song that appears on Simon & Garfunkel’s final studio album of the same name. Simon was the primary songwriter for the track and went on to win five GRAMMY awards at the 13th Annual Grammy Awards in 1971, including Grammy Award for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
The Voice finale also featured performances from Dan + Shay (“Take Me Home For Christmas”), Jason Derulo (“Take You Dancing” & “Savage Love”), Lauren Daigle (“You Say”) and Lewis Capaldi (“Before You Go”).
Additionally, the two-hour show included star-studded collaborations by Keith Urban feat. P!nk (“One Too Many”), Nelly feat. Florida Georgia Line (“Lil Bit”), JP Saxe with Julia Michaels (“If The World Was Ending”), 24KGoldn and Iann Dior (“Mood”) as well as a performance of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” from The Voice coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Gwen Stefani alongside the entire Top 20.
