Jimmie Allen and one of the most famous Muppets’ celebrated Queen’s 50th anniversary with a one-of-a-kind duet during The Queen Family Singalong on Thursday (Nov. 4).
Filmed at the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel is Los Angeles, California, Allen was joined by Miss Piggy for an unforgettable performance of the popular rock song.
“I’m doing ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’ with Miss Piggy… You can’t have a show and not invite Miss Piggy,” Allen joked ahead of his performance.

Written by Freddie Mercury in 1979, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” is a track that appears on Queen’s 1980 album, The Game. The song also appears on the band’s compilation album, Greatest Hits, in 1981.
The Queen Family Singalong also featured performances from JoJo Siwa and Orianthi, Pentatonix, Fall Out Boy, OneRepublic, Derek Hough featuring Alexander Jean, Adam Lambert and more.
The Muppets’ Animal also made a cameo during the show.
The 1-hour special celebrated 50 years of the iconic rock group, Queen, known for world-renowned tracks such as “Another One Bites The Dust,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Don’t Stop Me Now,” “Under Pressure,” “We Will Rock You,” We Are The Champions,” and so many other iconic songs.
The show was produced by Done+Dusted. Executive producers include Patrizia Di Maria, RJ Durell, Nick Florez, Hamish Hamilton, Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan. The Queen Family Singalong marks the fourth installment of its successful “Singalong” franchise, and follows The Disney Family Singalong, which premiered in April 2020.
