Before the Nashville Predators and Tampa Bay Lighting faced off at the 2022 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series, Jessie James Decker kicked things off with a stunning rendition of the National Anthem at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday, February 26.

After Dustin Lynch performed his latest single, “Party Mode,” while introducing the two hockey teams to the rink, the mother of three and owner of Kittenish made her way down the center of the teams to sing “The Star Spangled Banner.”

Donning a Nashville Predators jersey under a black puffy jacket, Decker put her powerhouse vocals on full display as fireworks exploded in the sky above, lighting up the sky over the sold-out Stadium of 68,619 fans.

On Tuesday, March 2, just days after Decker’s impressive rendition of the National Anthem at the NHL Stadium Series, the former reality television personality and social media influencer took to Twitter to share a video of her performance.

“So cool to be a part of @NHL’s Stadium Series and see a hockey game at Nissan Stadium!!” Decker captioned the clip. “This is always my favorite song to sing. I’m so proud to be an American What a great night for our city! Thanks for having me. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸”

Decker and Lynch weren’t the only two country stars to perform at the sold-out event, as Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert took to the stage during the first intermission of the historic outdoor hockey game. Bentley performed two of his hits, including “Burning Man” and “I Hold On,” before inviting Lambert to the stage to perform “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” and “Kerosene.”

Following their solo performances at the game, Bentley and Lambert teamed up for a rockin’ cover of ZZ Top’s “Gimme All Your Lovin’.”

Throughout the evening, Frankie Ballard, Chayce Beckham, Lindsay Ell, Morgan Evans, Jackson Dean, BEXAR, Josh Hedley, Tiera Kennedy and Lit’s Ajay & Jeremy Popoff joined The Stadium Biscuits house band, led by bandleader John Bohlinger, for performances during brief breaks.

While the Predators scored the first goal of the evening, The Tampa Bay Lightning ultimately took home the win with a final score of 3-2.
