Jason Aldean brought his latest single “Got What I Got” to life on Tuesday (July 28) evening on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
The stunning performance was filmed from the resort-like backyard at his beautiful new home just outside of Nashville. Aldean was joined by his band for a stripped-down acoustic rendition of the infectious track.
“When I first heard ‘Got What I Got’ it reminded me of something Boyz II Men would do…almost like a 90’s R&B throwback song,” Aldean previously shared in a press release. “It’s just not something you really hear in country music that much…plus, now more than ever, I think we’re all just being reminded how to appreciate the people we love.”
“Got What I Got” was co-written by Thomas Archer, Alex Palmer and Michael Tyler and was produced by Aldean’s goto producer, Michael Knox. The song appears on his album, 9.
