Jason Aldean performed his latest single live on piano during a recent tour date.

The country superstar and Georgia native’s highly-anticipated Back In The Saddle Tour made a stop in Camden, NJ at the BB&T Pavilion as part of 92.5 XTU’s annual anniversary show on Saturday (Aug. 14). As part of his electrifying 23-song set, the hitmaker performed his latest single “If I Didn’t Love You,” a track that features fellow country superstar, Carrie Underwood.

While Carrie Underwood was not present at the show in physical form, she did lend her vocals via a live virtual performance clip, singing her verses of the song and harmonizing flawlessly with Aldean throughout the song on a video screen that filled the entire backdrop of the stage.

Before performing the duet Aldean told fans that he and his band have been hard at work, working on their new album, Aldean then exclaimed that he recently shared the first single from the upcoming album, which features his friend, Underwood, who he believes is “one of the best singers of our generation.”

“Over the last year, we haven’t been sitting at home we were actually working on a brand new album for you guys that’ll be out later this year,” Aldean told the capacity crowd. “And just a couple weeks ago, actually, we released the very first single off that album. This is a song that I kind of needed a little bit of help on, so I called up a friend of mine, somebody who I think is one of the best singers of our generation, Ms. Carrie Underwood.”

Aldean continued, “and so, luckily for us, she liked the song and agreed to do this thing and so we just started playing this thing a couple days ago right. You guys are going to be one of the first to hear this or at least hear the live version of it anyway.”

The former ACM Entertainer of the Year performed the new song center stage, sitting behind a grande piano, following his performance of “Tattoos On This Town.”

Fans gushed over Aldean’s talents on social media as many were unaware that he played piano, one fan noted, “Totally awesome Jason Aldean …Wow!! Playing piano, amazing concert!!” While another fan commented, “My new favorite song / playing the piano was awesome. ❤️”

This performance did not mark the live debut of the song at an Aldean concert, as the hitmaker gave the live debut of the track in Cincinnati, OH at the Riverbend Music Center on August 12.

“If I Didn’t Love You” will appear on Aldean’s upcoming tenth studio album and follows his 25th No. 1 single, “Blame It On You.”

Additionally, the chart-topping singer shared that his forthcoming album will be “special” and include some “surprises.”

“This is our 10th album, so we wanted to do something a little special —something we haven’t done before,” Aldean added, before teasing, “So we have some surprises coming up and some stuff that is going to be really interesting.”

The country superstar’s massive headlining tour dubbed Back In The Saddle Tour features Aldean alongside special guests HARDY, Lainey Wilson and John Morgan. Tickets for the Back In The Saddle Tour are on-sale now, HERE.
