Harry Styles shocked Coachella festival goers with a surprise performance alongside country superstar Shania Twain on Friday evening (April 16) at Indio, California.
The 28-year-old hitmaker and One Direction singer dominated his first-ever headlining set at the iconic festival with a stacked set list that included two new songs (“Boyfriends” & “Late Night Talking”) from his upcoming third studio album, Harry’s House, as well as several songs from his sophomore album, Fine Line, including hits like “Adore You,” “Watermelon Sugar,” and “Golden.” He even threw in a few songs from his self-titled debut album, such as “Carolina,” “Sign Of The Times,” “Woman,” and more.
Styles’ headlining set also featured the live debut of his latest single “As It Was,” and two Shania Twain songs with the country star herself.
After a show-stopping performance of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful,” the iconic opening notes to Twain’s “Man! I Feel Like A Woman” played before the chart-topping country hitmaker appeared at the peak of a massive staircase on the stage singing the infamous line, “Let’s Go Girls!”
Twain strutted down the steps to the stage before joining forces with Styles for an impressive duet of her chart-topping hit.

Following their jaw-dropping performance of “Man! I Feel Like A Woman,” Twain joined Styles center stage sitting on a stool beside him with an acoustic guitar to perform another song together.
Before performing the next tune, Styles took a moment to tell the crowd what Twain means to him and his career.
“Now I have to tell you, in the car with my mother as a child, this lady taught me to sing,” Styles told the capacity crowd, before adding, “She also taught me that men are trash. But to you, for the memories you gave me with my mother, I will be forever grateful. This is very special for me!”
Twain, a big fan of Styles, also praised the “As It Was” singer as she is just as happy to be performing alongside him as he is her.
“I’m [at a] loss for words, I’m a bit starstruck … when I was writing this song, you were just a kid, so it’s kind of a dream and very surreal to be sitting right here now, singing this song with you,” Twain gushed.
The superstars then went on to perform a duet of “You’re Still The One,” a Twain song that Styles has previously covered live on the road in 2018 as a duet with Kacey Musgraves, who served as the opening act on his tour at the time. Styles dubbed the song one of his “favorite tracks of all time.”

During Twain’s Home Now Radio on Apple Music Country, previously admitted she’s a “big fan” of Styles and would love to sing a duet with him.
“I love to sing-along with Harry Styles. (Singing). That is such a cool lyric. I Adore You. Harry and I are texting friends. Yes, I’m bragging,” Twain previously shared. “No, I’m really a big fan of Harry Styles, and he’s apparently a fan of mine as well. He likes to sing ‘You’re Still The One’, and he performs it sometimes in his show, his live show, which is really cool and a huge compliment.”
“You and I should definitely do a duet together. We could do a version of one of your songs. I love your music. We could do a version of one of my songs, or we could just write a song from scratch and go from there,” Twain later added of her “dream” duet partner, Styles.
