Elvie Shane recently surprised Dierks Bentley with an interesting gift. Shane opened for Bentley on the Nashville stop of his Beers On Me Tour and to show his appreciation, Shane gifted Bentley with ice bath barrels.

Shane posted a video of the moment he surprised Bentley with the gift on Instagram. In the video, Bentley can be seen walking into the garage where his tour buses are parked to find Shane waiting for him. Shane removes the cover from one of the barrels as Bentley says, “Classy. There are two of them?”

“Yeah,” Shane responds. “I’m about to get in this thing with you, bro.”

A second later, Shane and Bentley do just that, with Bentley saying, “This is the nicest gift, bro.”

In the caption of his Instagram post, Shane said he knew Bentley needed the ice bath barrels as a gift as soon as he saw them.

“[I] saw these @icebarrel ice bath barrels and instantly knew @dierksbentley needed them as a tour gift… since he’s crazier than a sh-t house rat and does this all the time,” he wrote. “That sh-t is COLD!,” he said, adding ❄️, 🥶, and 🧊 emojis.

Shane also shared a video of him and Bentley soaking in the ice bath barrels to his TikTok account, noting it was “self-inflicted pain.”

Shane’s gesture wasn’t just to thank Bentley for allowing him to open up his Nashville concert, but also to commemorate his first time playing the Bridgestone Arena.

During the concert, Bentley said Shane has “one of the best voices.”

“I love [Elvie Shane], man,” Bentley shared. “He’s got one of the best voices, one of the greatest collections of songs out there right now anywhere you can find,” he added.

In addition to opening for Bentley, Shane also joined the “Beers on Me” singer to sing a duet of “Bad Angel” from his 2010 bluegrass album, Up on the Ridge.

“I’ll tell my grandkids about this night when I’m old and wrinkly and nobody else gives a damn about my hillbilly a-s. Sincere gratitude to @dierksbentley and his whole team for being so welcoming last night… Singing some bluegrass in @bridgestonearenaofficial was proof that it is Broadway’s biggest honky tonk. Love y’all,” Shane wrote of the experience on Instagram.

Prior to the concert, Shane shared how excited he was to play the Bridgestone Arena for the first time. “Let’s. Freakin. Gooooooooo. #Smashville, who’s comin’ to the show?,” Shane said, adding 💥, 🚀, and 🤘 emojis.

Dierks Bentley’s next scheduled tour date is Thursday, September 8, at Q Casino in Dubuque, Iowa. Meanwhile, Elvie Shane will perform at the Winston Salem Fairgrounds on September 10 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
