Ed Sheeran and Bring Me The Horizon teamed up for an epic collaborative performance of Sheeran’s “Bad Habits.”

Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes joined Sheeran for a heavy rendition of his chart-topping hit as they kicked off the 2022 BRIT Awards on Tuesday, February 8. 

The performance found Sheeran singing and playing his electric guitar, while Sykes added in some of his signature growls/screams. Their live collaboration, which earned a standing ovation, also featured a fiery production that included backup dancers, aerialists, pyrotechnics and fog. 

Sheeran described the performance as “living out my teenage fantasy,” later adding that it was “kind of like a full-circle moment” for him.

Bring Me The Horizon celebrated the performance by sharing a photo on Twitter of Sykes and Sheeran hugging following their epic collaboration.

“mY bAD hABiTS LeaD2u @edsheeran @BRITs,” the band captioned the photo.

“Bad Habits” appears on Sheeran’s fifth studio album, = (equals), the Billboard 200 albums chart dated Nov. 13.

Sheeran also performed a laid back rendition of his fan-favorite tune, “The Joker And The Queen,” a track that the also lives on the British superstar’s fifth studio album. Watch his performance of the song below.

During his appearance on the BRITs red carpet, the singer/songwriter revealed that he will be releasing a remix of “The Joker And The Queen” on Friday (Feb. 11), which will feature his “good friend” Taylor Swift.

Sheeran, a father of one, was tied with Adele, Dave and Little Simz at the 2022 BRITs as the most nominated artist at the coveted awards ceremony, each with four nods. 

The “Shivers” singer was nominated for Artist Of The Year, Mastercard Album Of The year, Pop and R&B Artist as well as Song Of The Year.

Hosted by comedian Mo Gilligan, the 2022 BRITs Awards took place on Tuesday, February 8 at the O2 Arena in London.
