Demi Lovato always wanted to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, and a decade after her tweet saying, “One day, I’m gonna sing the national anthem at a super bowl, Onnnee dayyy….” and tonight (Feb. 2) Lovato officially got to sing the National Anthem at the 2020 Super Bowl LIV, hosted at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.
Before Lovato, Yolanda Adams kicked everything off with her soulful rendition of “America the Beautiful.” Lovato’s performance of the National Anthem clocked in at 1 minute and 50 seconds.
This National Anthem performance comes just a week after Lovato’s return to the stage at the 2020 GRAMMYs, where she debuted her new single “Anyone.”
