Watch Conner Smith & Parker McCollum Pull Off Epic Prank On Thomas Rhett During Final Night Of Tour

The 2022 leg of Thomas Rhett’s Bring The Bar To You Tour came to a close on Saturday evening (Oct. 15), at the Nutter Center, in Dayton, Ohio. The show was filled with memorable moments and a few unexpected end-of-tour pranks.

Rhett’s tour mates, Conner Smith and Parker McCollum, shocked the country star when they joined him on stage to perform “Beer Can’t Fix” while sporting giant beer bottle costumes.

Rhett doubled over in laughter at the sight of the pair of beer bottles as they stood on the stage behind him.

“Nobody warned me,” Rhett laughed as he tried to compose himself.

Rhett encouraged fans to sing along to the boozy tune as her tour mates joined in for the collaborative performance.

“I need you to rattle the ceiling while you sing this verse,” he said.

The artists made their way around the stage as they sang the chart-topping hit together.

Thomas Rhett’s touring team also pranked him during the show. Prior to his performance of “She Had Me At Heads Carolina,” which he co-wrote with Cole Swindell, his band disappeared from the stage leaving him all alone.

“This is gonna go on all night, isn’t it,?” he asked as he laughed.

Then, his road crew stepped in for his band as they appeared in the pit posing as hardcore fans. They later returned to the stage to finish out the show.

“The moment during the last show of tour where we pranked our boss by swapping with our backline techs for a song and we went to the pit. Thankfully he loved it,” wrote Whit Wright, who plays slide guitar in Rhett’s band, wrote on Instagram after the show.

Rhett’s Bring The Bar To You Tour visited dozens of cities throughout the summer, including Pittsburgh, PA, Detroit, MI, Atlanta, GA, and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Thomas Rhett will enjoy some well-deserved time off before he launches the 2023 leg of the Bring The Bar To Your Tour with a Canadian Run in February.

“It’s been an absolute blast being back out on the road this summer and we are so excited to take the tour to Canada next year,” Rhett shared when the tour was announced. “It feels like forever since we were last able to play for those fans. They always bring an insane amount of energy and we cannot wait to get up there and see them again.”

Jordan Davis and Kameron Marlowe will join him on the next leg of the tour.

Conner Smith has a handful of tour dates planned through the end of the year, including a stop at the iconic Grand Ole Opry. The “Take It Slow” singer was invited to make his Opry debut by Thomas Rhett in May when he surprised him with the invitation over Zoom.

Parker McCollum will continue touring throughout 2022 with dates planned in Austin, TX, Boston, MA, Bangor, ME, and more.
