Cautious Clay and John Mayer performing “Swim Home” at The Fonda Theatre in LA last month, watch below. This was the first time the two artists performed the track, which they co-wrote and produced, live. “Swim Home” is out now and appears on the “13 Reasons Why” season three soundtrack.

Cautious is finishing up the last few nights of his fall headline tour with shows tomorrow night in Washington and Friday in Philadelphia. Recently, Vevo unveiled the multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and producer’s DSCVR session for their 2020 Artist to Watch campaign—watch “Erase” HERE and “Stolen Moments” HERE.

Cautious Clay is 26-year-old Josh Karpeh. Born and raised in Cleveland, OH, Karpeh first found music through his training in classical flute, which quickly opened the doors of blues and jazz. In college, he added many other instruments as well as songwriting and production to his repertoire, and soon after began releasing music of his own. Now based in Brooklyn, he has toured the world over and collaborated and shared stages with the likes of John Mayer, Omar Apollo, Tayla Parx, AlunaGeorge, Petit Biscuit, Lil Silva and more, and his music has appeared on “Insecure.” He recently released “Erase,” which is featured on EA’s “FIFA 20” in-game soundtrack and “Stolen Moments,” which appears on his EP Blood Type. Watch Cautious perform a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR here.
