Carrie Underwood is currently embarking on her highly-successful, incredible Cry Pretty Tour 360 and recently made a stop in her home state of Oklahoma on Thursday (Oct. 24) for a show at Tulsa’s BOK Center. Underwood has been bringing out fans with a special story to perform “The Champion” with her in each and every city she performs in to sing Ludacris’ part of the song live onstage with Underwood. In Oklahoma, Underwood brought out her own mother, Carole, who gave an outstanding performance of Ludacris’ verse of the song.
Underwood welcomed her mom to the stage saying, “My Champion, MOM!” as Carole arose to the stage to perform the song with her daughter. Later Underwood posted on Instagram saying, “Nailed it! I kept trying to keep her on track! ? At the end she said “Did I do OK?” Who knew Mom could rap,” Underwood wrote, adding, “#MyMomsCoolerThanYourMom.” Underwood adding a photo the next day saying, “Got to share the stage with this amazing champion tonight! Of course, I’m talking about my mom! She crushed it!”
Underwood wraps up her Cry Pretty Tour 360 on Halloween (Oct. 31st).
