Watch Breaking Benjamin’s Bassist Aaron Bruch Cover Nirvana’s “Something In The Way”

Breaking Benjamin is known to really enjoy Nirvana’s music and have covered their songs within their live shows several times like “Lithium” and “Smells Like Teen Spirit” but this time their bassist Aaron Bruch has taken his own acoustic approach to a Nirvana song “Something In The Way.” This video is the first of many (we hope) that Bruch will be uploading to his newly launched Youtube Channel.

Bruch captioned the Youtube cover video saying, “In memory of Kurt Cobain’s death, here’s a cover of me playing Something in the Way in a creepy underground pool.” The video was filmed in the infamous haunted pool beneath The Rave venue in Milwaukee.

The performance of “Something In The Way” was a way for him to honor Nirvana’s late frontman, Kurt Cobain, on the 25th anniversary of his death. Cobain died at his home in Seattle on April 5th, 1994 at the young age of 27 years old.

Breaking Benjamin is currently on tour in support of their latest record, Ember, with support from Underoath, Asking Alexandria, Diamante, Skillet and Fight The Fury. See a full list of tour dates for the band below. Click HERE for a full list of tour dates.
