Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani gave the debut live performance of their just-released duet “Happy Anywhere” on the TODAY Show on Friday (July 24).
“Happy Anywhere” was co-written by Ross Copperman, Josh Osborne and Matt Jenkins.
This single follows his latest single which is another duet with Stefani titled “Nobody But You.” Their previously releases duet “Nobody But You” quickly went No. 1, marking Stefani’s first No. 1 country single and Shelton’s 27th No. 1.
Shelton also chatted with TODAY Show hosts Carson Daly and Hoda Kotb about how the couple is spending their time during quarantine with Stefani’s three sons.
“That’s a scary moment for me because it’s one thing for me to be with the kids all the time and be their buddy, but you do have to consider after awhile that they start to listen to things that you say and there’s a lot of responsibility that comes with that,” Shelton explained.
The couple and Stefani’s children have been doing a lot of farming and growing vegetation as well.
“We’ve been doing things that I wished I had time to do for the last 20 years I guess,” he said. “That’s literally stupid things like pick blackberries. We grew a garden, grew several acres of sweet corn.”
On Saturday (July 25), Shelton, his superstar girlfriend Stefani, Trace Adkins and Parmalee, will be performing an exclusive drive-in concert that will be aired in drive-in theaters across the United States and Canada.
