Travis Tritt And Chris Janson Tribute The Late Waylon Jennings With Special Grand Ole Opry Performance

Travis Tritt and Chris Janson honored the late Waylon Jennings with a special performance on Saturday (Feb. 27) night.

The country superstars teamed up for a tribute to Jennings at the Grand Ole Opry singing “Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way.” The singers performed the iconic track while playing guitar alongside the full Opry band.

“I sent Travis a message this week and said ‘hey, don’t you think we oughta sing a little bit together for the first-time ever and we do it on the Grand Ole Opry stage?'” Janson said ahead of the performance. “And we’re going to honor one of our late, great heroes, Waylon Jennings tonight ladies and gentlemen.

“Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way” is the lead single from Jennings album, Dreaming My Dreams.

Carly Pearce, Jeannie Seely, Mark Wills, Hailey Whitters, Chonda Pierce and the Opry Square Dancers also performed during this show.
