Tori Kelly performed a soaring rendition of “O Holy Night” and “This Christmas” during the Rockefeller tree lighting ceremony in New York City.
The superstar donned a sparkling, red leopard print suit while belting out the lyrics to the popular holiday track.
“O Holy Night” and “This Christmas” appears on Kelly’s fourth studio album, A Tori Kelly Christmas, which was released in late October. The album marks Kelly’s first-ever Christmas album, and was executively produced by Kelly, Babyface, and Scooter Braun.
Christmas in Rockefeller Center also included performances by Kelly Clarkson, Dolly Parton, Jimmy Fallon, Goo Goo Dolls, Earth, Wind & Fire, Brett Eldredge, Leslie Odom Jr., Pentatonix, Gwen Stefani, Meghan Trainor, Cast of “Ain’t Too Proud” and the Radio City Rockettes.
The evening also included duets from Parton with Jimmy, Clarkson featuring Eldredge and Trainor with Earth, Wind & Fire.
The 88th annual holiday special celebrated the lighting of the 75-foot tall, 45-foot wide Norway Spruce from Oneonta, N.Y. The tree weighs approximately 11 tons. It is adorned with more than 50,000 multi-colored LEDs and topped with a stunning Swarovski star. The tree will be lit from 6:00 a.m. EST to midnight every day and will remain lit for 24 hours on Christmas Day and is located in New York City at Rockefeller Center to see all season long.
The iconic Christmas special aired on Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. EST on NBC. Due to social-distancing protocols, there was not a live audience present.
