Tom Morello has released the official video for “Stand Up” which features Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons, the Bloody Beetroots and Shea Diamond.
The video features protest and police brutality footage from the 1960s edited side-by-side with recent footage from the ongoing Black Lives Matters marches speaking out about the horrific deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.
The overall message of the video is to further spread the message about the battle against systematic racism and a call to come together in peace and unity in the face of massive oppression.
All proceeds from streams and sales of the track will go to the NAACP, Know Your Rights Camp, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and the Marsha P. Johnson Institute.
