Tim McGraw has been forced to cancel his forthcoming, highly-anticipated ‘Here On Earth’ tour due to the ongoing global health crisis.

The country superstar announced the cancellation of his 2020 summer tour on Wednesday (May 20).

“I hope my live shows are proof enough of how much I absolutely love performing for you guys. I’m so sad to have to cancel this year’s Here on Earth Tour but everyone’s safety has to be the top priority,” McGraw posted in a statement on Instagram. “We’re working with our teams to figure out when and how we can get back out on the road and see you all safely. In the meantime, we’re looking for some new ways to connect with you and get more music out.”

McGraw was scheduled to begin the ‘Here on Earth’ Tour on July 10 in Syracuse, NY, and continue through a September 26 show in Chicago, IL.

Midland and Ingrid Andress were set to open the tour and Luke Combs was to join for two special stadium shows in September in Inglewood, CA and Philadelphia, PA. McGraw’s last tour was the Soul2Soul Tour with his wife Faith Hill.
