The Weeknd performed his single “Save Your Tears” at the 2020 American Music Awards on Sunday, November 22.
The singer shut down downtown Los Angeles for his performance in his signature After Hours red suit, complete with a massive fireworks display.
The superstar also joined forces with jazz saxophonist Kenny G for an amazing performance of his hit song “In Your Eyes.”
“Save Your Tears” is from his fourth studio album, After Hours (2020).
The Weeknd is up for 8 nods at tonight’s award show including Favorite Song (Soul/R&B), Favorite Album (Soul/R&B), Favorite Male Artist (Soul/R&B), Favorite Song (Pop/Rock), Favorite Album (Pop/Rock), Favorite Music Video, Favorite Male Artist (Pop/Rock) and Artist of the Year.
The 2020 American Music Awards also featured performances from Bad Bunny, Jhay Cortez, BTS, Dua Lipa, Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion and Shawn Mendes, Bebe Rexha feat. Doja Cat, Bell Biv DeVoe, Jennifer Lopez with Maluma, Kenny G, Machine Gun Kelly, Lewis Capaldi, Dan + Shay, Katy Perry with Darius Rucker and Billie Eilish.
