The Jonas Brothers ARE Reuniting After 6-Year Hiatus

According to numerous reports flooding the internet, The Jonas Brothers are currently planning their comeback together as a band after their 6-year hiatus after they disbanded. However, it appears that even though they are plotting their return, the brothers will not have the same name, The groups name will be changing to a more matured named dropping the word brothers from the end and just calling their band, JONAS.

An insider report by US Weekly said that and also revealed that their reunion with Kevin, Joe and Nick would be losing their signature ‘The Jonas Brothers’ and just simply calling themselves JONAS. Another source at The Sun, revealed that the trio met in London just a short while ago to discuss their huge comeback.

Not only will The Jonas Brothers be dropping new music, but they are also planning to release a documentary. “After enjoying solo music success and also taking time to work on passion projects, they feel like now’s the right time to get back together,” an insider reported to The Sun, continuing to say “This is going to be one of the biggest music reunions in years.”

The rumor of The Jonas Brothers comeback began last year due to the shear factor that their Instagram account has resurfaced by being reactivated after their long hiatus.

The Jonas Brothers formed in 2005 and became global singing sensations off the back of Disney TV movie Camp Rock. The band has went on to sell 20 million records worldwide, releasing their last album over a decade ago. Their first attempted comeback was in 2013 but they cancelled the tour two days before it was supposed to begin due to a “deep rift” and a “big disagreement over their music direction.” The trio then announce their split three week later, scratch out their planned album and bid farewell by releasing a collection of live tracks and one new song. They deactivated their Instagram and deleted their Twitter upon this break up in 2013.

Nick Jonas continues to deny the rumors of the reunion saying, “I mean, it is not happening right now. Never say never. I think there is some great things happening in all our lives individually still and we’re all focusing on that at the moment,” he told W magazine, but we think it is destined to happen and could be one of the biggest boy band reunions, that is until One Direction reunites.
