The frontman and lead singer, Ric Ocasek of the rock band, The Cars has died at the age of 75. TMZ has reported that police say Ocasek was discovered unresponsive Sunday (Sept. 15) at his townhouse in New York City and was pronounced dead on the scene according to the NYPD spokesperson.
It has not yet been made clear how long Ocasek has been dead for and or how he has died. He may of died from natural causes. He was reportedly found in his bed by his estranged wife, Paulia Porizkova. The Cars were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just last year, where they reunited to perform at the induction ceremony. Ocasek is survived by his five children. He was 75.
