Tekashi 6ix9ine Returns With New Song “GOOBA,” Recorded While in Home Confinement

Tekashi 6IX9INE has returned with a new song “GOOBA,” which he recorded while in home confinement. He was granted an early prison release in April 2020 due to the novel spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, and he is said to be a high risk case as he suffers from asthma.

The songs lyrics even includes a reference to the coronavirus saying “Basic, been hot, way before coronavirus” and his cooperation with federal prosecutors saying “tell me how I ratted, came home to a big bag.”

6ix9ine was sentence to 24-months in prison in December 2019 with 5-years of supervised released on federal racketeering and firearm charges, we was originally set to be freed from prison on August 2, 2020 but with the novel coronavirus spreading rapidly still, he was granted an early release in April 2020 with the remainder of his sentence to be served via home confinement, under government surveillance.
