Taylor Swift is just swirling in success this year with the release of her highly-anticipated album, Lover, her Miss Americana Documentary and then next year’s Lover Fest Stadium performances but that doesn’t stop Swift from giving her fans more! Today (Dec. 5), Swift announced that she has just written a Christmas song.
The Christmas song that Swift wrote is titled “Christmas Tree Farm,” and is set to be released at midnight (Dec. 6) just days before her birthday and her birthday Jingle Ball performance.
“Pretty wild, but I’ve just written a Christmas song,” Swift says in a tweet, Continuing to tease fans saying, “I feel like it’s weird to just like wait a year to put it out.”
Swift then said on Twitter, “When in doubt, ask the itty bitty pretty kitty committee. When they shun you with silence, ambivalence, and judgmental brush offs… just put the song out anyway.”

This isn’t the first time that Swift has released some Christmas music however as she released her Taylor Swift Holiday Collection EP in October 2007, which features several covers of George Michael’s hit Christmas tunes including “Last Christmas,” “White Christmas,” “Silent Night,” “Santa Baby” and then of course she had to include a few of her own original Christmas songs which included “Christmases When You Were Mine” and “Christmas Must Be Something More.”
