Taylor Swift Holds Back Tears While Performing “Soon You’ll Get Better” on ‘One World’ TV Special

Taylor Swift brought fans inside her home to perform one of her most emotional songs “Soon You’ll Get Better” on Saturday (April 18) during the one-hour One World: Together at Home tv special.

Performing a song that she said was “really hard to write and was a family decision” to put on her latest album, Lover.  The song is inspired by her mom’s ongoing battle with cancer. Swift mentioned previously that it is a song she wouldn’t be able to perform live due to the intense amount of emotion behind the lyrics but she was able to power through the song holding back tears whilst playing her piano.
