Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie celebrated their new smash hit single “ME!” together for debut live performance on television tonight on the Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), opening the show with a showstopping performance, complete with colorful light poles. The song and performance was very playful, vibrant and pastel color-filled. Their performance included the props from her “ME!” music video with an incredible ending to the performance gliding atop the crowd floating on an umbrella chair as pastel confetti showered the crowd. They recreated their music video for the new song.

Their BBMAs collaborative performance was teased by Swift and Urie as Swift unveiled a vertical music video which was a self-recorded rehearsals performance with the two stars.

Swift is a 23-time Billboard Music Award winner, the most of any artist in BBMA history and this performance marked her first time performing on the award show since 2013, when Swift performed “22” on the show. This year Swift is nominated for two nominations including ‘Top Female Artist’ and ‘Top Touring Artist.’ Urie is also nominated for a couple of Billboard Music Awards with his band Panic! At The Disco being nominated for ‘Top Rock Album’ and ‘Top Rock Song’ for their song “High Hopes.” See the full list of nominations and winners of BBMAs, HERE.

The music video for their song “ME!” has broken VEVO records shattering the previous record held by Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” of 59 million views in a 24-hour period with Swift’s video amassing over 65 million views in 24-hours. Currently amassing over 118 million just under a week after its release which is breathtakingly amazing.
