Taylor Swift has announced that a re-recorded version of her chart-topping 2008 album, Fearless, is coming soon. Alongside the news of the re-recorded album, Swift also released a new version of hit song “Love Story.”

“This process has been more fulfilling and emotional than I could’ve imagined and has made me even more determined to re-record all of my music,” Swift shared with fans. “I hope you’ll like this first outing as much as I liked traveling back in time to recreate it.”

The re-recorded project comes 13 years after it’s original release in 2008.

Alongside the announcement of the new re-recorded album, Swift shared the Taylor Version of her hit single “Love Story” on Friday (Feb. 12). Listen to the new version of the track below.

Fearless marked Swift’s first-ever No. 1 album and her breakthrough full-length that included hit singles such as “Love Story,” “You Belong With Me,” “White Horse” and more. The album also earned the superstar her first GRAMMY Awards, including Album of the Year, an award that made history as she became the youngest artist to ever receive the award at the time.

Fearless (Taylor’s Version) will include “6 never-before-released songs from the vault,” making the album track listing to 26 songs. The album is available for pre-order now HERE.

“Only I know which songs I wrote that almost made the Fearless album,” Swift shared. “Songs I adored, but were held back for different reasons. I’ve decided I want you to have the whole story, see the entire vivid picture, and let you into the entire dreamscape that is my Fearless album. This process has been more fulfilling and emotional than I could’ve imagined and has made me even more determined to rerecord all my old music.”

While Swift didn’t officially announce the release date for the re-recorded project, in her announcement post, fans have gathered several strange capitalizations that spell out ‘April 9th,’ leading fans to speculate that it’s the date of release.
