Although a formal tour announcement has not yet been made for Taylor Swift in support of her forthcoming sixth studio album, Reputation. Swift will be heading out on the road sometime soon, assuming that she will be announcing a tour very shortly as her website already has a section for Events (currently blank), however she has a sign up box for Fan Verifications to prove you are a true swiftie in which you can select from a certain list of cities to get first access to tickets when they become available of course. This comes after Swift just debuted her first single from Reputation titled “Look What You Made Me Do” which was released just before midnight tonight. The tour, which presumably has not been announced in full, will support Swift’s forthcoming Reputation album, out Nov. 10.

A post in the tour dates section of Swift’s website reads:

“Taylor Swift is committed to getting tickets into the hands of fans … NOT scalpers or bots. So she’s collaborating with Ticketmaster #VerifiedFan to create an exclusive program to help you get the best access in North America, in a really fun way.”

Fans are asked to register with their Ticketmaster account (from now through Nov. 28th) and participate in activities to ‘boost’ their place in line to gain access to tickets — buying merch, pre-ordering the album, sharing, and watching the “Look What You Made Me Do” lyric video all advance you.
