Taylor Swift is set to open the 2019 Billboard Music Awards with the live premiere of her latest hit single “ME!” which features Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco. Billboard announced that the duo will kick off the show on the BBMAs stage with the worldwide television debut of the single. Urie will be joining Swift’s performance of the new song, it is only right for him to do as he is featured on the song and will also be present at the award show as he is set to be performing with his band Panic! at the same award ceremony, which is hosted by Kelly Clarkson on MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV on Wednesday, May 1st.

The music video for the song “ME!” has broken VEVO records shattering the previous record held by Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” of 59 million views in a 24-hour period with Swift’s video amassing over 65 million views in 24-hours.

Swift joins previously announced BBMAs performers including Halsey, Clarkson, Ciara, Tori Kelly and Dan + Shay, Jonas Brothers, Khalid, Panic! at the Disco, and Lauren Daigle. The live performance debut of “ME!” will mark 23-time BBMAs winner Swift’s first time performing on the show since her performance of “22” in 2013, the same year she won the BBMA for Artist Of The Year. Swift is up for two awards this year: Top Female Artist and Top Touring Artist.
