Linkin Park have issued a “Cease and Desist” to the Donald Trump Presidential Campaign after the unauthorized use of their song, “In The End.”

Trump tweeted a fan-made campaign video that was soundtracked by the Linkin Park song on Saturday (July 18). The band quickly reported the video, which resulted in having it taken down from Twitter within a few short hours as they do not endorse and never have endorsed Trump or his organization.

The video in mention still lives as a Tweet on Trump’s Twitter but reads: “This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner.

Linkin Park’s late frontman, Chester Bennington, has commented on Trump in the past saying that Trump is “a greater threat to the USA than terrorism.”

Trump has been using different artists music at his rally’s, in advertisements and more without their prior permissions which resulted in several cease and desists from different artists including Neil Young, The Village People and even Tom Petty’s estate. The Rolling Stones also recently threatened a lawsuit over the continued unauthorized use of their music.

Linkin Park later tweeted to let their fans and the public know that they don’t support Trump or his organizations and their music will not be allowed for usage by him or his Campaign.

“Linkin Park did not and does not endorse Trump, nor authorize his organization to use any of our music,” the band Tweeted. “A cease and desist has been issued.”

The Estate of Tom Petty has issued a cease and desist order to Donald Trump’s Presidential re-election campaign due to the unauthorized usage of Petty’s song “I Won’t Back Down” on Saturday (June 20).

The Trump Campaign used Petty’s song “I Won’t Back Down” at his rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma held on Saturday evening.

In a statement posted after the rally, The Tom Petty Estate, also known as his family said that they issued a cease and desist to the campaign as “Tom Petty would never want a song of his used for a campaign of hate. He liked to bring people together.” The statement also read “Trump was in no way authorized to use this song to further a campaign that leaves too many Americans and common sense behind.”

“Both the late Tom Petty and his family firmly stand against racism and discrimination of any kind. Tom Petty would never want a Song of his used for a campaign of hate. He liked to bring people together,” The statement continued. You can read the full statement from the family below.

Founding member of Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers, Benmont Tench, also spoke up via a statement on Instagram saying: “I in no way approve of Trump even whistling any piece of music associated with our band.”

“I Won’t Back Down” was released in April 1989 as the lead single from his debut solo album, Full Moon Fever. The song was written by Petty alongside Jeff Lynne, his writing partner for the album. The song reached No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Album Rock Tracks chart for five straight weeks, starting the album’s road to its multi-platinum status.

Tom Petty died in October 2017 after suffering from Cardiac Arrest.

Eminem has unleashed an almost 5 minute attack on President Donald Trump in a freestyle which he used BET Hip Hop Awards on Tuesday (Oct. 10th) to release it. In the freestyle he really spoke his mind on how he and many of other people feel on POTUS’ Trump’s presidential status. He questioned his policies, campaign promises, ending the Trump-bashing freestyle challenging his own fans, saying that “You’re either for or against” continuing by saying “if you can’t decide, on who you should stand beside, I will do it for you with this *gives the camera a middle finger*.”

“The Storm” by Eminem Lyrics:
“It’s the calm before the storm right here
Wait, how was I gonna start this off?
I forgot… oh, yeah
That’s an awfully hot coffee pot
Should I drop it on Donald Trump? Probably not
But that’s all I got ’til I come up with a solid plot
Got a plan and now I gotta hatch it
Like a damn Apache with a tomahawk
Imma walk inside a mosque on Ramadan
And say a prayer that every time Melania talks
She gets a mou… Ahh, Imma stop
But we better give Obama props
‘Cause what we got in office now’s a kamikaze
That’ll probably cause a nuclear holocaust
And while the drama pops
And he waits for s**t to quiet down, he’ll just gas his plane up and fly around ’til the bombing stops
Intensities heightened, tensions are risin’
Trump, when it comes to giving a s**t, you’re stingy as I am
Except when it comes to having the b***s to go against me, you hide ’em
‘Cause you don’t got the f**king n**s like an empty asylum
Racism’s the only thing he’s fantastic for
‘Cause that’s how he gets his f**king rocks off and he’s orange
Yeah, sick tan
That’s why he wants us to disband
‘Cause he cannot withstand
The fact we’re not afraid of Trump
F**k walkin’ on egg shells, I came to stomp
That’s why he keeps screamin’ ‘Drain the swamp’
‘Cause he’s in quicksand
It’s like we take a step forwards, then backwards
But this is his form of distraction
Plus, he gets an enormous reaction
When he attacks the NFL so we focus on that
Instead of talking Puerto Rico or gun reform for Nevada
All these horrible tragedies and he’s bored and would rather
Cause a Twitter storm with the Packers
Then says he wants to lower our taxes
Then who’s gonna pay for his extravagant trips
Back and forth with his fam to his golf resorts and his mansions?
Same s**t that he tormented Hillary for and he slandered
Then does it more
From his endorsement of Bannon
Support for the Klansmen
Tiki torches in hand for the soldier that’s black
And comes home from Iraq
And is still told to go back to Africa
Fork and a dagger in this racist 94-year-old grandpa
Who keeps ignoring our past historical, deplorable factors
Now if you’re a black athlete, you’re a spoiled little brat for
Tryina use your platform or your stature
To try to give those a voice who don’t have one
He says, ‘You’re spittin’ in the face of vets who fought for us, you bastards!’
Unless you’re a POW who’s tortured and battered
‘Cause to him you’re zeros
‘Cause he don’t like his war heroes captured
That’s not disrespecting the military
F**k that! This is for Colin, ball up a fist!
And keep that s**t balled like Donald the b**ch!
‘He’s gonna get rid of all immigrants!’
‘He’s gonna build that thang up taller than this!’
Well, if he does build it, I hope it’s rock solid with bricks
‘Cause like him in politics, I’m using all of his tricks
‘Cause I’m throwin’ that piece of s**t against the wall ’til it sticks
And any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his
I’m drawing in the sand a line: you’re either for or against
And if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split
On who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for you with this:
F**k you!
The rest of America stand up
We love our military, and we love our country
But we f**king hate Trump”

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Breaking Benjamin Filled The Trump Taj Mahal Mark Etess Arena to capacity on August 29th with a SOLD OUT show under the brightly shining full moon. Longtime Fans & New Fans piled into the arena which filled rather quickly, with fans ready to hear the music of a band they’d fallen in love with as long as fourteen years ago when Breaking Benjamin released their debut self-titled EP. We have now seen Breaking Benjamin in every scenario from Acoustic Shows, to Small Club Shows, to Playing Festivals, to now back to where they belong playing Huge Arenas.

A deafening roar arose from the sea of people as “So Cold” off of their 2004 album, We Are Not Alone, filled the room. Shaun Foist entering the stage first to take his place at his Custom Pearl Drum kit, followed by Jasen Rauch on lead guitar, Keith Wallen on backing vocals and rhythm guitar, Aaron Bruch on Bass and backing vocals, and of course the frontman and lead vocalist Benjamin Burnley. The Arena then Erupting in excitement as the first lyric of “So Cold” exited Burnley’s mouth beginning the night of excitement and incredible musicianship. Burnley still remains one of the most talented, unique and consistent vocalists in alternative metal and hard rock. The energy and talent filling the stage during their performance is electrifying, the ferocity Ben puts behind his performance is amazing. The intensity of the instrumental elements flowing perfectly with Ben’s one of kind voice.

Breaking Benjamin performed “Failure,” and “Angels Fall,” which are two of the singles off of their newest album, Dark Before Dawn, which was released on June 23rd of this year. Benjamin Burnley has kept Breaking Benjamin’s sound and style going strong on this new record if not improving it with the new members contributions. Breaking Benjamin has the best live sound they have ever had in their entire career, all of the backing vocals from Aaron & Keith making for a pleasant blend with Ben’s lead vocals.  Their sound only improving more and more each time we have seen them live. I have never seen a more devoted fan base then the fan base Breaking Benjamin has developed over many years also known as Benheads, Throughout the entire night the fans were very interactive and into every song. At times during the night the crowd was singing the lyrics back to Ben louder then I have ever heard at any show, shaking the Arena. Not one moment throughout the show was anyone standing still or not singing along even during the new songs that were performed, every fan in attendance knew every word.

Breaking Benjamin’s 20 song setlist was a mix of songs from classic Breaking Ben songs to their new music. There wasn’t a single weakness in the song list – high energy, high quality songs, one after the other. They even surprised the fans by adding in Queen’s song, “Who Wants to Live Forever,” which was sung by rhythm guitarist Keith Wallen. They also did “Ænema” by Tool, which was sung by bassist Aaron Bruch. Burnley added that Tool had been one of the biggest influences on the band and without them Breaking Benjamin would not have been the band that they are today.

The band finished the night off with its famous hit “Diary of Jane,” which had all fans and security singing along to every word. As they exited the stage leaving the fans hungry for more and the crowd exploding into a roaring applause for Breaking Benjamin. I would definitely recommend you going out and seeing Breaking Benjamin’s live shows rather it be an electric show or acoustic show, you are guaranteed to have your mind blown! In sum, this supercharged evening was definitely proof that Breaking Benjamin is back and are better than ever! The band is continuing to tour the U.S. and Canada on their Dark Before Dawn tour, with dates from now until October 3rd. The band will then join Shinedown on tour with select dates from October 16th through November 24th.
