Travis Tritt issued a statement with fans, giving an update on the injury that forced him to cancel the remaining dates of the ‘Can’t Miss Tour’ with Chris Janson.

The “T-R-O-U-B-L-E” singer took to social media on Saturday (Nov. 12) to update fan fans on his knee injury.

“Update: An MRI this week revealed that I do have a torn meniscus in my left knee as I’d suspected,” Tritt wrote on Twitter. “I plan to return to the road to play my remaining 2022 shows from December 1 thru December 10. My knee surgery will take place in mid December.”

Tritt also clarified and confirmed that she will be “good to go way before” his tour dates in July of 2023.

Tritt took to social media to share the unfortunate news of his tour cancellation with fans on Tuesday, November 1.

“I have been experiencing severe pain in my left knee for the past few weeks due to a possible torn meniscus,” Tritt wrote. ”With short bits of rest between shows, I had hoped that the pain would eventually subside and I could complete all of my remaining dates in November, including all the dates on the current ‘Can’t Miss Tour’ with Chris Janson and War Hippies.”

He went on to explain that the pain he is currently enduring is unbearable and he can no longer tour until he recovers from the injury.

“Unfortunately, the pain has become impossible to ignore and I will not be able to do any further shows in November,” Tritt continued. ”Refunds for these shows will be available at point of ticket purchase. I appreciate everyone’s understanding and I hope to return to the road as soon as possible.”

According to Tritt, the list of dates canceled include:

11/3 Greensboro, NC
11/4 Florence, SC
11/5 Richmond, VA
11/11 Tupelo, MS
11/12 Choctaw, MS
11/18 Pensacola, FL
11/19 Atlanta, GA

The news comes after the artists were forced to cancel their Estero, Florida concert due to the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. Additionally, Tritt and Janson recently announced the cancellation of their Nov. 10th concert in Anderson, South Carolina, citing “reasons beyond our control.”

While Janson has yet to comment on the cancellation of the tour, several venues have alerted fans of the news via social media.

The artists announced the co-headlining trek earlier this year after teaming up to release the song “Things You Can’t Live Without.” The duet appears on Janson’s latest album, All In, which was released in April.

“I’m really looking forward to the ‘Can’t Miss Tour’ with Chris this Fall. Our high-energy performances complement each other so well. Audiences are going to be thoroughly entertained,” Tritt shared upon the announcement of the tour.

Janson added, “Excited to be out touring with one of my favorites. It’s gonna be a rowdy fall, and I’m looking forward to it!”

On working with Tritt in the studio, Janson told Country Now that “Things You Can’t Live Without” came out better than he could have imagined.

“He absolutely crushed it, just like I knew he would,” he shared. “It’s one of my favorite collaborations to date.”

In addition to working with Tritt, the pair also formed a bond outside of the studio. “Travis is a great guy and turned out to be a really good friend,” he added.

According to Tritt’s official website, the “T-R-O-U-B-L-E” singer’s next scheduled tour date will take place on Thursday, December 1 in Abilene, Texas at Wylie PAC.

Some of the industry’s biggest stars are coming together to bring a little extra holiday cheer this season in the heartwarming TV special Homes for the Holidays, airing now through New Year’s Day!

Hosted by CMA award-winning artist Ashley McBryde, the television event features Cole Hauser, well known for his role as Rip Wheeler in the hit drama series Yellowstone; multi-platinum country star Travis Tritt; music legend Bret Michaels’ rising Warner Music Nashville singer Ian Munsick; country trio Runaway June and Grammy-nominated Robert Randolph.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation gave celebrity friends the opportunity to provide Gold Star and fallen first responder families with an incredible holiday gift — mortgage-free homes.

The special will include intimate musical performances filmed across the country in locations such as Idaho, The Mulehouse in Columbia, Tennessee, Nashville’s Santa’s Pub, a New Jersey church and backstage at a concert in Kentucky.

“For our Gold Star families and fallen first responder families, every day without their hero is painful, but the holiday season can bring about its own particular wave of grief,” said Frank Siller, Tunnel to Towers chairman and CEO. “At the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, our hope is that the security of a mortgage-free home, the guarantee that they will never have to leave the place where they created so many holiday memories, eases that burden of grief just a little bit. We have a very special relationship with the country music community, and it means the world to us that Ashley, Cole, Travis, Bret, Ian, the members of Runaway June and Robert Randolph & The Family Band are supporting us in our mission.”

In addition to hosting, McBryde will also perform “Amazing Grace” to close out the show.

“What better way to celebrate the meaning of the holiday season than by helping Tunnel to Towers showcase the love, resilience and hope of these military and first responder families,” shared McBryde.

https://youtu.be/cAcxR8QPKXQ

Hauser traveled to his cherished West where Yellowstone is filmed to take part in Homes for the Holidays.

“I’ve been fortunate to be a part of the amazing work Tunnel to Towers is doing and wanted to showcase how the charity is providing accessible homes for those that have been catastrophically injured defending our country,” commented Hauser.

Tunnel to Towers has worked to support America’s heroes since September 11, 2001, by supplying mortgage-free homes to the families of Gold Star and fallen first responders and building custom-designed smart homes for injured veterans and first responders. During the TV special, families will share their stories, explaining how the organization has impacted their lives.

Viewers can tune in to Homes for the Holidays on various network affiliates including Fox, Scripps and Gray stations. The special is also set to air on the Circle Network and AXS TV. For air times, check your local listings.

Travis Tritt has made a new friend.

Tritt recently met and performed with fellow singer Aaron Lewis at this year’s Buffalo Chip Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Tritt shared a photo of him and Lewis following the event, saying it was “a thrill.”

“Words cannot express what a thrill it was to meet and perform with the multi-talented @aaronlewismusic for the first time ever. Something tells me that we are going to work together again many times in the future,” Tritt captioned the photo of himself and Lewis on Instagram.

In the photo, Tritt can be seen wearing a dark shirt and matching jeans while Lewis is sporting a “Veterans Before Refugees” T-shirt, blue jeans, and a black and white “F U JOE” hat, which presumably references President Joe Biden.

In a video of the event that Tritt also shared on Instagram, he reiterated how much he enjoyed performing with Lewis. The video provides a view of the stage and a large lit-up crowd with an American flag projected onto a video screen in the distance. In the video, Tritt and Lewis can be heard singing a few bars of Tritt’s song, “Anymore.”

“We had an amazing night with all my biker brothers and sisters in Sturgis tonight at the Buffalo Chip. So great to share the stage with the amazing @aaronlewismusic. I love my fellow patriots!,” Tritt said, adding an American flag emoji to the post’s caption.

In a third post, Tritt posed with actor Robert Patrick backstage at the event. In the photo, Patrick can be seen wearing a Boozefighters leather vest.

“Two Georgia boys that worked hard and did pretty well against all odds. Such an honor to hang for a bit with such a great dude!,” Tritt shared.

This year’s Buffalo Chip Sturgis Motorcycle Rally featured an all-star line-up including Tritt, Lewis, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Devon Worley Band, Jon Pardi, and various others.

Both Tritt and Lewis are known for being politically outspoken, with Tritt canceling shows at venues that required fans to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination and Lewis voicing opposition to Biden, “wokeness,” and Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Jason Aldean admitted it’s “pretty wild” having his musical heroes, Tracy Lawrence and Travis Tritt serve as opening acts on his Rock N’ Roll Cowboy Tour. Aldean shared more about Lawrence and Tritt joining him out on the road during a recent conversation with Everything Nash.

“I’m so excited,” Aldean told the outlet during a media event. “I don’t think it’s any secret that Tracy Lawrence has been one of my heroes forever. And Travis [Tritt], too, I remember going to see Travis Tritt at the Omni in Atlanta when I was a teenager, and he was one of those guys that did the country Southern rock thing, and I just thought that was so cool.”

“And obviously, he was a big influence for me, too. And so to have those guys out … my graduation present from high school was tickets to go see Tracy Lawrence. So here I am, out on tour, and these guys are opening for me. It’s pretty wild,” he said.

In addition to Lawrence and Tritt, Chase Rice will be joining the tour. Previously, Gabby Barrett was set to perform, but plans changed after she and her husband, singer, Cade Foehner announced they were expecting their second child, a baby boy.

Aldean announced the line-up change on Instagram, thanking Lawrence, Tritt, and Rice for “jumping in” to fill Barrett’s spot.

“Who’s ready for the #RockNRollCowboyTour?! Excited to announce Travis Tritt, Tracy Lawrence, and Chase Rice will be joining us for the second half of the tour as Gabby Barrett will be having her baby boy,” he wrote. “Congratulations to Gabby, and a big thank you to Travis, Tracy, and Chase for jumping in. Let’s go!,” he added.

Aldean’s Rock N’ Roll Cowboy Tour runs through Oct. 29, wrapping up at the Intrust Bank Area in Wichita, Kansas. Earlier this year (Apr. 20), Aldean released Georgia, the second half of his double album, Macon, Georgia. The album features 15 tracks, including “Trouble With A Heartbreak,” the singer’s 27th No. 1 song.

Aldean celebrated his latest No. 1 at an industry event at The Local on Aug. 10.

Country hitmakers Chris Janson and Travis Tritt are hitting the road together later this year!

Janson and Tritt, two of Country Music’s most dynamic performers, announced that they will be embarking on a co-headline tour this fall. The trek, dubbed The Can’t Miss Tour, will kick off on October 7 in Huntington, West Virginia and feature support from country newcomers War Hippies, the newly-formed duo of Scooter Brown and Donnie Reis.

The pair of superstars, who are both known for their high-energy concerts, are excited to hit the road together.

“I’m really looking forward to the ‘Can’t Miss Tour’ with Chris this Fall. Our high-energy performances complement each other so well. Audiences are going to be thoroughly entertained,” Tritt shared of the trek.

Janson added, “Excited to be out touring with one of my favorites. It’s gonna be a rowdy fall, and I’m looking forward to it!”

The tour announcement comes after the award-winning country stars teamed up for “Things You Can’t Live Without,” a duet that appears on Janson’s just-released fourth studio album, All In

Co-written by Janson alongside David Lee Murphy, Deric Ruttan and Chris Stevens, “Things You Can’t Live Without” is a straight-up country banger filled with an steel guitar-infused instrumental that takes listeners back to the ’90s. We have to also note Janson’s impressive harmonica solo in the track.

“That was the vibe that I wanted when we wrote it,” Janson said in response to Tritt, who told him the tune sounded like a song that he would have had a hit with in the ‘90s (per CMT). “I wrote it with David Lee Murphy and it’s par for the course. From day one, I said, ‘I’ve got to get Travis on this with me.’ It would just be so killer. Dream day, big win, it’s same thing I’ve always been saying. I asked and he said yes. Then it was, ‘Poof, off to the races.’”

The pair shared a music video to accompany the song, directed and filmed by David Bradley of Osprey Media, which you can watch below.

Travis Tritt has joined the slew of people throwing shade at Eric Church on social media. The shade comes after Church canceled his San Antonio concert earlier this week to attend the Final Four game, which he called a one in a lifetime opportunity.

On Sunday, April 3, following Tritt’s sold out show in Robinsonville, Mississippi, the singer/songwriter and Georgia native took to Twitter to throw shade at Church.

“FYI – Over the years I’ve missed friends and family’s weddings, funerals, family reunions and a bunch of other events I would have loved to have attended because I was booked for shows,” Tritt wrote during the early morning hours. “I don’t think I could ever get by with canceling a show because I wanted to watch sports.”

One Twitter user then questioned Tritt asking him if he would cancel a show to attend a Georgia Bulldogs National Championship game. The “It’s A Great Day To Be Alive” singer didn’t waste any time to respond. Tritt assured fans that if he is booked, he is playing the show, regardless of what events may come up.

“I’m smart enough to not book a show during the NCAA National Football Championship, but if I had been booked, I would have played the show. That’s just me,” Tritt replied to the Twitter user’s question.

Tritt’s tweets come after Church recently canceled his April 2 concert at the AT&T Center to attend the Final Four game that found the North Carolina Tar Heels and Duke Blue Devils facing off to advance to the championship.

Upon cancelling the show, a letter on behalf of the “Hell Of A View” singer was sent to fans who purchased tickets to the show.

“To the Church Choir, This Saturday, my family and I are going to stand together to cheer on the Tar Heels as the team has made it to the Final Four,” the letter began. “As a lifelong Caroline basketball fan, I’ve watched Carolina and Duke battle over the year but to have them matchup in the Final Four for the first time in history of the NCAA Tournament is any sports enthusiast’s dream.”

In the letter he then admitted that cancelling this show to attend the NCAA game is “the most selfish thing” that he’s ever asked of The Choir.

“This is also the most selfish thing I’ve ever asked the Choir to do: to give up your Saturday night plans with us so that I can have this moment with my family and sports community. However, it’s that same type of passion felt by the people who fill the seats at our concerts that makes us want to be part of a crowd at a game of this significance,” Church added, before concluding the letter with a quote saying, “Woody Durham always said, ‘go where you go and do what you do,’ thanks for letting me go here and be with the Tar Heels.”

The letter to fans revealed that “no action is required to obtain a refund.” Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

Eric Church To Host Free One-Of-A-Kind Concert For Fans Who Had Tickets To Canceled Texas Show

Church has since made things right for the disappointed fans in San Antonio, Texas with the announcement of a one-of-a-kind, FREE show.

The North Carolina native took to social media on Friday (April 1) to reveal plans to return to Texas this fall to play for fans who previously purchased tickets at no cost.

“Thank you, San Antonio for letting me take my family to this game. It took a minute to figure out how and when I could properly express my thanks,” Church wrote to fans. “I will be coming to Whitewater Amphitheater in New Braunfels, TX on Friday, September 2, 2022 for a ONE of a kind FREE show for those of you who bought tickets and were planning to attend our cancelled San Antonio show. Details to be announced soon.”

Church’s Gather Again Tour will resume on April 9, 2022, in New Orleans, LA at the Smoothie King Center.

Tritt is currently in the midst of his headlining Set In Stone Tour, which wraps up on May 1 at Florida Theatre in Jacksonville, Florida.

Country music has a rich history dating back to the 17th century, and it has become a cultural phenomenon within the United States. Hitmakers such as Alan Jackson, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Randy Travis, Waylon Jennings and more have shined a light on the true beauty of traditional country and have paved a path for artists today.

The mainstream musicians consuming present-day country radio, typically find inspiration within the stories shared by the legends that have come before them. While honing in on their crafts, they quickly realized that the singer-songwriters of the ’90s understood the power of storytelling and transparency.

The secret recipe developed throughout the decades typically gets pushed under the rug nowadays – leaving Grammy award-winning artist Travis Tritt no other choice than to push the fundamentals of country in tribute track, “They Don’t Make ‘Em Like That No More.”

“Well Ole Hag came on my daddy’s radio / Every word he sang whispered to my soul / there was truth and passion in every line / I could almost swear he could read my mind / Them heartbreak songs cut me to the core / Lord, they don’t make ’em like that no more,” the country legend sings in his up-tempo hit.

The “Foolish Pride” singer paired his honest verses with an attention-grabbing lyric video that pays homage to the artists that have executed the art of country music perfectly.

“This song is a throwback to all the country greats who trail blazed the industry and paved the way for others to follow,” Tritt shared.

Tritt runs footage of old performances featuring Dolly Parton, Charley Pride, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Loretta Lynn, and more throughout the almost three-minute clip. As Tritt highlights memorable moments in history, he even shared a tape of music-goers line dancing decked out in retro-western fashion. Over the reminiscent video, he stresses that today’s new music can’t be compared to old-school country.

“There are just some things that stand the test of time / Like an old jukebox and some honky-tonk wine / Newer ain’t better buddy, that’s for sure / Son, they don’t make ’em like that no more.”

The radio-worthy hit scored a spot on Tritt’s 12th studio record, Set In Stone. The 11-piece project marks the legend’s first full-length collection in over a decade and also includes toe-tapping tracks – “Smoke In A Bar,” “Way Down In Georgia,” and “Ghost Town Nation.”

The state-of-the-art LP that embodies the seasoned song smith’s impressive vocal range and gritty country twang was produced by Dave Cobb. The icon worked alongside co-writers Adam Hood, Ashley Monroe, Channing Wilson, and more to craft his comeback collection carefully.

Following the success of his 2021 release, Tritt is heading into the new year in full force. He recently announced on Tuesday, January 4, that he will be hitting the road on his Set In Stone Tour.

To go along with his headlining tour that is set to kick off on March 11 in Orange Beach, AL –  the country artist will remain on his solo acoustic trek that is also arranged to start next week, January 13, in Tennessee. The small acoustic concert will wrap up in February before his massive journey throughout the United States.

Tritt confirmed that he would be performing at venues that don’t require proof of vaccination or a negative test. Tickets are now available for purchase, HERE.

Bear Bailey met one of his biggest musical heroes, Rascal Flatts’ frontman Gary LeVox, and not only did he get to meet him in person for the first-time ever, but he also got to sing a duet with him!

On Wednesday evening (Dec. 22), the viral singer took to his Instagram story to share the moment when he first met the chart-topping country hitmaker at his Tennessee Ranch.

The brief clip begins as Bailey enters a massive building, “y’all let’s see who we got here right now, I’ll tell you what, the place sure looks good. Let’s see who’s in here.” As the video continued, Bailey walked towards a bar within the building, where a man wearing camouflage was sitting with his back to him.

As he got closer to the mystery man, he found out it was, LeVox, the singer behind hit songs like “Bless The Broken Road,” “Life Is A Highway,” “What Hurts The Most,” “My Wish” and many others.

“Gary LeVox in the building,” Bailey said as his face lit up and a huge smile formed. “Y’all this is a dream come true for me. Thank y’all for all y’all do. Thanks for having me out, man, means the world to me.”

“You’re the man,” LeVox replied as they shook hands.

“If you would’ve told me that I don’t have long left on this earth and I can meet one person, it’d be Gary freakin’ LeVox,” Bailey told Music Mayhem of the unforgettable moment. “That was a dream come true, a full circle moment for me.”

After meeting LeVox, Bailey and the Rascal Flatts’ singer joined forces to cover Travis Tritt’s “Help Me Hold On,” a chart-topping track co-written by Tritt alongside Pat Terry that appears on Tritt’s debut album, Country Club, which was released in February 1990.

In a clip, shared to Bailey’s Instagram feed, the rising country star sang the Tritt hit with LeVox. The pair traded verses before joining together in perfect harmony during the song’s chorus, during which their vocals blended together flawlessly.

“Singing with him in person was incredible!” Bailey said of sharing a duet with the country superstar. “Spent the entire night with him, it was just a lot of fun. He’s just truly a wonderful, great, good guy, man of God, good person. He was just overall great.”

LeVox also shared the clip to his Instagram, saying, “I cannot begin to tell you how much fun I had with my new brother @bear_bailey1. He is a brother for life and so talented. I cannot wait to see his music touch the masses. Brothers for life stay tuned more to come from both of us.”

Bear Bailey has often been seen covering Rascal Flatts’ hits on his TikTok, as he credits the trio as one of his favorite bands and LeVox as a huge inspiration on his career. Some fans have even compared his vocal abilities to LeVox on TikTok, so it comes at no surprise that LeVox has influenced his musical journey.

“Gary has most definitely influenced by style of singing,” Bailey admitted. “Influenced me in music, he’s one of the big reasons why I wanted to do it.”

Below are a few Rascal Flatts covers by Bailey, including “Bless The Broken Road,” “These Days,” and more.

Additionally, James “Bear” Bailey, known by his TikTok handle, @bearbailey1, has been impressing people at a Super Serve gas station near Houma, Louisiana, with impromptu performances of songs by artists from all different genres. Bailey’s performances, which have since been uploaded to his TikTok page, have made him a viral star. In fact, he has amassed over 2 million followers already!

With each impressive clip, viewers can find Bailey – a 33-year-old welder – typically standing near the checkout counter in a rock-band T-shirt, either singing along with the gas station loudspeaker or belting out an a cappella tune. His near-flawless renditions of songs by artists such as Luke Combs, Lonestar, O Town and Shania Twain, to name a few, have left store patrons stunned. So much so that they often stop in their tracks, dance along to his performances, or – as seen in other clips – return to the gas station to find Bailey offering onlookers yet another on-the-spot rendition of their favorite tune.

Thanks to the popular TikTok platform, Bailey has been grasping attention from some of country music’s biggest stars. Mickey Guyton, who saw Bailey’s gas-station performance of K-CI & Jojo’s “All My Life,” re-tweeted the clip, showing her enthusiasm for Bailey’s talent with the simple caption, “I Can’t.” While country superstar Keith Urban has also taken an interest in Bailey’s work in the recent months, responding via Twitter to one of his video cover performances of Urban’s 2009 smash, “‘Til Summer Comes Around,” with three love hand gesture emojis. Even Dan + Shay got in on the excitement, commenting on a video from their own TikTok account, raving, “killed it, Man!”

More recently, Bailey has garnered the attention of Clay Walker, who invited him to come perform on stage with him some day.

The fast rising country singer has also recently gained attention globally and especially noted in Music City as he gears up to release original music. He has shared several teaser clips of original songs, including “Let It Roll,” “I Can’t Stop Loving You,” and “Mamas Boy,” which he wrote alongside Mitchel Tenpenny.
