Today, buzzing LA duo Social House—made up of Michael “Mikey” Foster and Charles “Scootie” Anderson—shares a brand new single “Haunt You” via School Boy Records/Republic Records—listen HERE! Social House also reveals their debut EP will be released on August 2nd—stay tuned for more!
“Haunt You” highlights the singular style and spirit at the heart of Social House. Merging alternative and electronic influences, the track hinges on delicate acoustic guitar punctuated by hypnotic production. Everything builds towards their ghostly chant, “Never thought something so beautiful could haunt you,” introducing listeners to their stunning signature sound.
Retreating to Big Bear, CA earlier this year, the duo recorded the song after the success of their debut single, “Magic In The Hamptons” feat. Lil Yachty, which has over 100 million streams to date.
Of the song, Scootie says, “For me, ‘Haunt You’ is about making the best of the time you have with loved ones regardless of the circumstances because time is something you’ll NEVER get back.” Mikey chimes in saying, “‘Haunt You’ is about appreciating the beauty in the things you love, even if they’re no longer yours.”

Both born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Michael “Mikey” Foster and Charles “Scootie” Anderson initially struck a chord by sharing feelings from behind-the-scenes. The musicians met by way of producer Tommy Brown, sharing a house and creative hub in Sherman Oaks, CA. Together with Brown, they collectively penned and produced multiplatinum number one smashes such as “thank u, next” and “7 Rings” for Ariana Grande’s blockbuster thank u, next. One day, the pair cooked up an idea they couldn’t part with, which resulted in their debut single as Social House, “Magic in the Hamptons” feat. Lil Yachty. Not only did the track surpass over 100 million cumulative streams within a year, but it also paved the way for widespread acclaim from Billboard, Refinery29, HotNewHipHop, LADYGUNN, Ones To Watchand more. Now, they welcome everyone home on their new single “Haunt You.”
