After debuting their arena-ready anthem “Somebody’s Gonna” earlier this month (May 1), SixForty1 are continuing to find creative ways to showcase their new music to fans as touring is currently on hold amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
On the bleachers of a field in Franklin, Tenn., The buzzed about pop-country duo, comprised of Austin Gee and Brooks Hoffman, performed a stripped-down rendition of their latest infectious single “Somebody’s Gonna,” putting their harmonies on full display.
In the below video filmed by Wales Toney of Whale Tale Media, Gee and Hoffman can be seen strumming their acoustic guitars on a set of bleachers in Tennessee while showcasing their vocal strengths and flawlessly harmonizing with each other while singing their latest release “Somebody’s Gonna.”

“Somebody’s Gonna” was written by Gee and Hoffman alongside their good friend Brandon Day.
While they continue to maintain a fresh new sound, the duo have the ability to present their country roots while blending in some infectious pop elements that just leave you craving more, further cementing themselves as the next superstar country duo.
“We wrote this with our buddy Brandon Day about 2 years ago,” explained Austin Gee. “It was a fun and laid back write, we literally just shot off everything a guy would do for a girl.”
“It felt like a summer jam since we first got the demo. Immediately we had it on repeat,” added Brooks Hoffman. “Right now feels like the perfect opportunity to release this song as our first single of 2020 because it’s all about appreciating the little things and realizing how great your relationship is and not taking those things for granted.”
2020 is destined to be a momentous year for the sought after duo, with an arsenal of new music in the works, the band continues to push the boundaries, finding new ways daily to get music to their fans while rapidly growing their fanbase with their distinctive sound, catchy lyrics and irresistible instrumentals.
