Shania Twain Wrote Collab for Post Malone, “Post, I Have a Song For Us”

Who would have ever guessed that Post Malone would be a big fan of Shania Twain? But who isn’t with Twain’s mega hits. Just a few days ago, Twain performed on the 2019 American Music Awards and the camera panned to Post Malone dancing/singing during her performance which instant circulated the internet, which prompted a response from Twain via Twitter saying, “Awesome! I’m so glad I got to see this! @PostMalone’s got moves.”

In a recent article from ET Canada, Twain was said to be on The Talk yesterday which will air on Wednesday (Nov. 27), Sheryl Underwood asked Twain if she has any future plans to collaborate with Post Malone. Twain immediately responded, “Oh I’ve written a song for us already! He doesn’t know it yet, he knows now. Post, I have a song for us.”

Although, Twain didn’t share many other details about possible collaboration, the song, a genre for the song and she quickly changed the topic. Twain also mentioned that she didn’t have the opportunity to chat with Malone at the 2019 AMAs. We must say that this collaboration would be an iconic collab, no matter the genre with these two hitmakers.

Twain also mentions that she wrote a collaborative song to include Lizzo and Janelle Monae saying, “I went home and I actually wrote a song for the three of us, It’s called ‘Sisters’ and I think we are all sisters in what we do, and it was a really great new friendship that we started. And so I went home and wrote that song. They don’t know about it yet.”
