A few days after celebrate Independence Day with a tropical performance of “This Land Is Your Land” on A Capitol Fourth, Jimmy Buffett returned to Nashville, Tennessee.
On Tuesday (July 6) evening, the “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” singer performed a 23-song concert at Ascend Amphitheater in Downtown Nashville, which included performances of his fan-favorite hits such as “Margaritaville,” “Fins,” “Cheeseburger In Paradise,” “Come Monday,” “Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes” and more.
In addition to performing his classics, he also added several covers into his set, including Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl,” The Allman Brothers Band’s “Little Martha,” Will Kimbrough’s “Nobody from Nowhere,” Mac McAnally’s “Back Where I Come From,” Crosby, Stills & Nash’s “Southern Cross” and Jerry Jeff Walker’s “Sangria Wine.”
The iconic singer even welcomed five time GRAMMY-winning blues influenced Americana artist Keb’ Mo, who Buffett said he is a “big fan of,” as a guest at his concert, the tour date is part of Buffett’s Life On The Flip Side Tour.

Not only did Buffett perform in Nashville but he also made a surprise appearance to his urban oasis in Downtown, Margaritaville Hotel Nashville.
While making an unexpected appearance at the tropical-themed premier hotel, he surprised fans and employees poolside for fulfilling some fans “bucket list” dreams of meeting the singer. He even snapped a photo with their infamous flip-flop which resides within the lobby of the hotel.
Additionally, Buffett also made a stop at SiriusXM’s Radio Margaritaville inside of the luxurious hotel to chat on-air with Kirsten Winquist.

These appearances come weeks after Buffett performed alongside Mac McAnally at Nashville’s Exit/In on Monday, June 21, the same show which country superstar Kenny Chesney surprised at.
Buffett performed his signature hit “Margaritaville” with Chesney and McAnally during the Exit/In show.
Chesney shared a video clip of the performance the day after his performance, which he captioned, “Always a blast being on stage with my friends Jimmy Buffett, Mac McAnally, and the rest of the Coral Reefer Band. Thanks for the invite Jimmy.”
