Scott Stapp Releases New Song “Purpose For Pain,” Announces Tour

Grammy-winning artist, Scott Stapp just released a new single “Purpose For Pain,” from his upcoming new record, The Space Between the Shadows, which is due out in July via Napalm Records.

Stapp details the meaning behind his new song “Purpose For Pain” saying, “‘Purpose For Pain’ is about seeking a higher meaning, a spiritual mentality when dealing with our struggles and life’s painful moments, There are unexplainable, dark times that everyone goes through, and that pain is real. If we can dig deep and hold on to hope during the most difficult situations, believing there is a purpose waiting for us on the others side, we can find meaning and clarity that gives us the strength to keep fighting.” Stapp also mentioned that the forthcoming new record is a “manifesto of lessons learned in the six years since [his] last release.”

The Space Between the Shadows, is the followup to Stapp’s 2013 release of Proof Of Life, which featured his first solo artist No. 1 single with “Slow Suicide.” In support of Stapp’s new album, The Space Between the Shadows, Stapp will be heading out on his U.S. summer tour. Tickets will be going on sale on Monday, March 25th. You can grab your tickets for one of his upcoming shows, HERE.
