JP Saxe and Julia Michaels teamed up with a star-studded list of their artist friends to cover of their 2019 duet “If The World Was Ending,” benefitting Doctors Without Borders.
Joining JP Saxe and Julia Michaels to cover the hit song is the song’s producer Finneas and H.E.R., Niall Horan, Alessia Cara, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Kelsea Ballerini, Jordan Davis, Jason Derulo, Kesha, Zara Larsson, Sam Smith, The Rose, Anthony Ramos, Pink Sweat$, Sasha Sloan, Anne Marie, Noah Cyrus, Lindsey Stirling, Fletcher, Sabrina Carpenter, Evaluna Montaner, Camilo, Sam Nelson, Harris (X Ambassadors), Maeta and Mau y Ricky.
“We are so grateful for the incredible work being done by those on the frontlines during this global pandemic,” Saxe and Michaels said in a statement. “At a time when it can sometimes feel like ‘the world is ending,’ we thank all of the healthcare workers, first responders, and essential workers who are helping so many people in need. Additionally, All proceeds received by Sony Music and the artists resulting from the video will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
Doctors Without Borders is a medical organization that is raising money to help find a vaccine for COVID-19 and also to further funding for life-saving medical care efforts across the globe. “If The World Was Ending” appeared on JP Saxe’s EP, Hold It Together, originally inspired by the Los Angeles earthquakes in 2019. However, the song has quickly become the anthem to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
