Ryan Hurd is releasing a duet with his wife and fellow country superstar Maren Morris!
Hurd shared the news Monday (Feb. 8) on Instagram, that he and Morris are releasing a duet entitled “Chasing After You.”
A snippet of the duet was shared via Instagram Stories by Hurd, which finds the couple singing the track alongside some precious photo and video moments of their relationship.
“Everytime you say were done, you come back to the love you were running from, don’t know why, don’t know why I let you but I do, cause I love chasing after you,” the couple sing is perfect harmony during the teaser clip.
While no other details have been shared of the forthcoming duet, this marks the first time that the two singers merged their careers and their relationship.
“Maren and I met writing songs and we’ve sung on each other’s records and written together, but this is the first time we’ve gotten to do an actual duet together,” said Hurd. “It feels like the timing is really perfect and it’s a full circle moment to get to make music together in this way.”
“Chasing After You” was co-written by Brinley Addington and Jerry Flowers, and produced by Teddy Reimer and Aaron Eshuis.
Hurd and Morris share a son together, Hayes Andrew Hurd. The couple welcomed Hayes into the world, just one day before their second wedding anniversary on March 23, 2020.
